Connor McDavid has added another prestigious award to his ever-growing list of accomplishments. The Edmonton Oilers superstar was named the winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player (MVP) of the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs, despite his team's loss in the finals to the Florida Panthers.

McDavid was a force throughout the playoffs, leading all players in both goals (16) and assists (26). He also had eight power-play goals and was a key contributor to the Oilers' resurgence after falling behind 3-2 in the Western Conference Finals.
